Solenoid Door / Cabinet Lock Assembly Breakout

What is it?

Introducing the Solenoid Door/Cabinet Lock Assembly Breakout Board - an affordable solution for getting your hands on some physical security. This user-friendly breakout board simplifies your setup, needing just three connections:

• VIN (3.3V to 5V)
• RLS (active-high lock release)
• GND

Out of the box, the lock latch is securely in the "locked" position. By applying a HIGH signal to the RLS pin, the latch will retract slightly, enabling the lock to open effortlessly. See demo video below. While the lock mechanism isn't constructed from metal, it is injection-molded from durable ABS plastic, making it versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications.
