Remote Triggered Wireless Alert Siren Alarm
Remote Triggered Wireless Alert Siren Alarm
What is it?
The Remote Triggered Wireless Alert Siren Alarm is a versatile and compact solution for remote alert systems. This product comes equipped with a car key-fob-like remote control featuring four buttons that allow you to trigger different alarm signals—one wail, two wails, three wails, or a continuous siren, tailoring your alert system to various scenarios. Designed for both ease of use and flexibility, the board can be powered via a standard 24V power adapter plugged into the onboard power jack or through the header pins, making it compatible with a wide range of setups.
Each remote is uniquely paired with its specific alarm, ensuring only that remote can trigger the alarm. The key-fob’s serial number is matched exclusively with the alarm’s serial number, preventing other remotes from activating it.
The remote can be used to trigger the alarm up to around 5m away. When measured from 10cm away, the siren alarm can reach up to 116 dB in volume.
Potential Use Cases:
Personal Safety Alert in Homes: In a home, the remote control can be kept in different parts of the property. A single beep could be used to alert family members or staff in the event of a minor issue (like needing assistance), while a continuous siren could be triggered in case of an emergency, such as an intruder or medical situation, signaling immediate help is required.
Elderly or Disabled Caregiver Alert System: Caregivers can provide the remote to elderly or disabled individuals who might need assistance. A single beep could indicate a simple request, like needing help with a minor task, while the continuous siren could be used to alert caregivers to an urgent situation where immediate attention is necessary.
Classroom Management Tool: Teachers can use the remote to signal different classroom activities. One beep could indicate a transition between subjects, two beeps to get the class’s attention for an announcement, and three beeps for an urgent situation requiring the students to follow specific instructions. The continuous siren could be reserved for emergencies, such as fire drills or lockdowns, to ensure students understand the seriousness of the situation.
Camping and Outdoor Expeditions: During camping trips or outdoor expeditions, the remote can be used to signal different activities or alerts. For instance, one beep could signal that it’s time to gather around for a group meeting, two beeps for meal times, and three beeps to alert the group to return to camp. The continuous siren could be used to alert everyone to an emergency, such as a dangerous animal sighting or severe weather.
