Thanks to the precisely sized rivets on the header contact pins, the board offers a "press-fit" connection to the Raspberry Pi headers without the need for bulky female headers. Simply press it onto the RPI headers, and it will form a snug / tight fit with perfect electrical connection with the RPI headers. This design ensures the protoboard sits low, allowing components to fit even when the Raspberry Pi case lid is on. The shape of this custom protoboard is also unique and designed to maximize prototyping space, while not interfering with the Raspberry Pi motherboard. This sleek integration means you can maintain the compactness of your Raspberry Pi setup while benefiting from the versatility of a protoboard. There are a total of 288 positions / holes for prototyping. These holes are arranged in a standardized 100 mil (2.54mm) grid pattern, allowing for easy insertion of electronic components such as breakout boards, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits (ICs), and wires. Please note that these protoboards do not have pre-existing traces connecting the holes on the PCB. To establish connections, it is common practice to bend the leads of through-hole components and insert them into the respective holes.
